Field Communication Specialist III

About You:
You are a skilled communications technician with a strong background in field communications, networking, and wireless systems within the oil & gas or industrial sectors. You thrive in hands-on roles, working closely with operations, automation, and IT teams to ensure seamless communication across field assets. You have experience with RF, 2-way radio, microwave, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, and switching). Your problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently make you a valuable asset in ensuring reliable network infrastructure in remote locations.
About the Role:
As a Field Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting field communication systems, including radio towers, backhaul networks, and wireless infrastructure. You will work closely with various teams to install, upgrade, and monitor communication hardware while ensuring compliance with FCC, FAA, and industry standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on fieldwork, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both troubleshooting and optimizing communication networks in dynamic field environments.
