This is an onsite role in Phoenix, AZ (Zip Code - 85085). Required schedules are dayshift Tuesdays-Saturdays or Sundays-Thursdays.
Looking for a Production Planner who will perform a wide variety of expediting duties in support of client’s customer support activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- 2 years’ experience working in Supply Chain, Warehouse Logistics, Manufacturing, or Spares Operations
- Ability to work in a fast pace changing work environment in production and scheduling in support of both internal and external customers
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be willing to work Dayshift Sundays-Thursdays or Tuesdays-Saturdays
Job Duties:
- Ensure a timely flow of raw materials, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, or finished goods from external and/or internal suppliers. Locates and expedites critical materials
- Review and monitor open sales order reports, forecast schedules, and stock inventory; maintain, update, and input material control data system or records and verifies reports for accuracy; adjusts material counts when discrepancies are noted
- Represent the department in shipment status meetings and follows-up to ensure commitments are met
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle
- Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules
- Provide input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Production and Engineering managers.
