Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Accounting Associate to join our team. In this role, you will document the companys financial transactions, Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable and general office duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions in Quick Books
Answer Phone calls
Reconcile bank statements
Create Purchase orders to approved vendors
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Data entry into ERP system
Qualifications
College degree in accounting or a related field preferred
Previous experience as bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
