The Role:
The CMM/PCMM Operator will play a vital role in our team, contributing to our goal of delivering precision and quality in every product we manufacture.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate CMM machines to measure dimensions of finished work pieces.
- Take precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and depth micrometers.
- Use data entry and basic analysis of statistical process control charts.
- Assist the production team in collecting and analyzing data for measurement systems analysis, capability studies, design of experiments, gauge R&R, etc.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Ensuring production line, gauges, and measuring devices are working correctly.
- Monitoring production line fallout and yields and providing samples for root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Identifying and handling non-conforming products.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with operating CMMs; programming experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
- Previous quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MS Office applications such as Access, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with drawings, flowcharts, work instructions, and control plans, gage R&R, capability studies.
