About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Dimensional Measurement Specialist to join our team at Applied Composite Technology Inc. The successful candidate will have experience with operating CMM machines, programming, and methods implementation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Develop and implement efficient methods for CMM processes, reducing scrap percentage and increasing efficiency.
- Assist in determining reasons for defects or malfunctions and effect of deviations on product requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to collect and analyze data for measurement systems analysis, capability studies, design of experiments, gauge R&R, etc.
Requirements:
- Training/experience with operating Coordinate Measurement Machines, preferably with programming experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing assembly environments or quality control roles.
- Familiarity with SPC concepts and applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
