We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Inspector with CMM Experience to join our quality control team at Applied Composite Technology Inc. The successful candidate will have experience with operating CMM machines, programming, and methods implementation, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect and measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Implement efficient methods for CMM processes, reducing scrap percentage and increasing efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to collect and analyze data for measurement systems analysis, capability studies, design of experiments, gauge R&R, etc.
- Identify and handle non-conforming products and conduct internal audits for compliance to AS9100 standards.
Requirements:
- Training/experience with operating Coordinate Measurement Machines, preferably with programming experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing assembly environments or quality control roles.
- Familiarity with SPC concepts and applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
