We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our quality control team at Applied Composite Technology Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Coordinate Measurement Machines and possess strong analytical skills to ensure precision and accuracy in dimensional inspections.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate CMM machines to measure dimensions of finished work pieces, ensuring conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5-S principles.
- Assist production leads in training team members on inspection procedures and develop work instructions.
- Conduct internal audits for compliance to AS9100 standards and identify non-conforming products.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing assembly environments or quality control roles.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Access, Excel, and Word.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles and ability to train others.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
