Applied Control Equipment , an Emerson Impact Partner and leading automation and controls provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Portland, OR .
If you have at least 2 years of experience as a business development manager in a technical field or 2-5 years of Valve Technician experience, a stable job history, and the ability to travel between 35% - 50%, Applied Control wants to hear from you! Business development experience in the water / wastewater industry or oil & gas industry is a big plus!

- Great work / life balance : You can expect to work a 9-80 schedule, working 80 hours in 9 days. You will have every other Friday off!
- Local travel to meet with your customers : Most travel will be within a 5-hour driving distance from your home. You will be traveling in your own vehicle, with Applied Control having a mileage program to reimburse you. Semi frequent overnight travel to neighboring states.
