- They are looking for either those who have strong PM/Estimator experience plus a little sales experience in EPC or Electrical Construction OR those who have specific experience in Electrical Construction (or relevant experience) with relationships with the big General Contractors that do Data Centers, Large Commercial, etc… Think Turner, Black & Veatch, etc…
- Identify and prioritize potential customers, expansion markets, new technologies, and projects
- Execute business development action plans based on the Marketing Plan
- Develop marketing materials and train Business Development Associates
- Manage client relationships and ensure needs are met
- Assist with pre-construction activities and oversee projects through all stages
- Provide budgeting assistance to clients
- Maintain and improve the CRM system
- Coordinate and participate in client travel and events
- Attend professional societies and get involved in industry events
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in construction estimating, supervision, and/or project management (combination of education, training, and experience also considered)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Self-motivated and proactive, with effective teamwork skills
- Ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, and clients
