Order Administrator
An Order Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the ordering process including, but not limited to : order entry, purchasing, expediting, and providing order status to customers. These individuals also work closely with Sales, Accounting, Operations, Suppliers, and most other groups within the company by providing timely updates and responses to various requests.
Order Administrator Responsibilities :
- Execute order administration and management including order entry, purchasing, date management, expediting, change orders, return authorizations, and documentation
- Support the Sales team in meeting customer needs and providing exceptional customer experiences
- Coordinate with the Sales team to deliver timely responses to customer requests including resolving order issues, providing status updates, and expediting as needed
- Collaborate with Order Administrator team to provide back-up support & assistance with workload and problem solving
- Collaborate with the Accounting team to resolve pricing and invoicing issues
- Communicate with the Operations team to ensure orders are completed and shipped out on-time and correctly
- Other duties as assigned in support of delivering exceptional customer experiences
Order Administrator Skills / Qualifications :
Order Administrator Working Conditions :
Includes working primarily in an office setting, with occasional visits to the shop. This position may require evening, and weekend hours on an infrequent basis.
Order Administrator Compensation :
Base Wage Range : Hourly Rate : $20-24 / hour, dependent on relevant job-related and industry experience. Candidates with 5-10 years of direct experience may be paid higher in the range. This is a non-exempt role, eligible for overtime pay.
Other Variable Compensation : Eligible for annual profit share award after six months with the company.
