What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - P1 Autonomy Program Support position at Applied Industrial Technologies?
This position will support our current Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of autonomy. This position will primarily be responsible for testing new sensors, devices, control algorithms, controllers, etc, on new Autonomy platforms. This position will also acquire field data on all of the stated items above and use this to analyze and critique each of these offerings and evaluate them for production suitability.
- The ideal candidate would have a background in system controls, PLC software programming, and a good mechanical understanding of how advanced control systems currently work.
- Will provide additional backup support for simple production-level programming updates within the group.
- Fundamental understanding of programming languages like CoDeSys, C, C , Plus 1, IQan, or something similar would be ideal,
