Position Description

Collaboration is a fundamental part of our organization's culture and is essential to our continued success. As such, the successful candidate for this position is expected to work on-site, enabling them to engage fully with colleagues and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. Therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment is a key requirement for this role.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and safety guidelines. 
  • Monitor and manage levels of spare parts inventory. 
  • Initiate orders for new parts based on inventory requirements. 
  • Establish and maintain communication with vendors. 
  • Receive, organize, and catalog incoming parts to designated storage area. 
  • Support in processing parts orders and promptly communicate any concerns to team leaders. 
  • Embrace a teamwork philosophy, contributing to a positive environment that motivates the team to achieve or surpass production and quality goals. 
  • Organizing and cataloging parts.
  • Utilizing the inventory control system.
  • Managing and maintaining inventory as required.
  • Placing parts orders and supporting team in generating purchase orders (POs).
  • Receiving and cataloging incoming parts.
  • Driving daily between Applied Medical Buildings on campus. 
  • Monitoring spare components inventory.
  • Work in Systems Application and Products (SAP) and Solidworks.

Performance Objectives: 

Within your first 6 months, you will be responsible for learning about our company, contributing to various projects, and leading project management initiatives.   

  

Within your first 30 days:

  • Learn about Applied Medical’s mission and vision and take part in a variety of Applied Learning foundational courses.   
  • Discuss your goals and expectations with your team leaders and read and review all relevant team resources and materials.  
  • Immerse yourself in team meetings and discussions.  

Within 60 days:   

  • Exhibit a strong technical understanding of the product lines and projects.  
  • Support team meetings and agendas.  
  • Take on one or more projects that require low to moderate guidance.   

Within 90 days to one year:

  • Develop interpersonal connections and relationships with others to effectively accomplish project objectives and deliverables.  
  • Lead moderate to complex projects with minimal guidance or direction.  
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Applied Medical’s Quality Management System (QMS) and effectively troubleshoot challenges or obstacles that may affect project timelines.   
  • Handle a variety of projects on your own.   

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or one year of experience in a comparable role.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Drivers license in good standing.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Please note that the compensation range may be adjusted in the future, and bonus and incentive compensation plans may apply.
