Position Description
As a Patent Agent, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Collaborate and mentor inventors and assist with documenting inventions.
- Engage in hands on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in U.S. and foreign jurisdictions.
- Contribute to patent portfolio strategies and providing technical and legal research and analysis.
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Active registration of the USPTO with a successful and demonstrable track record.
- Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering degrees.
- Three or more years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
- Excellent administrative, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred
The following skills and attributes Preferred:
- Prior engineering experience.
