Description:

The Channel Sales Manager complements the direct sales effort by supporting the needs of customers not managed by direct sales or business development managers. This includes international customers, distributors, E-Commerce customers, customers acquired through manufacturers reps and other customers as assigned by the VP of sales.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies and joint business plans, set sales targets, and provide regular reports to management
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans
  • Work with customers on training needs including our pricing structures and website use for price inquiries.
  • Communicate with channel partners regarding sales/service issues and follow up on requests for quotes.
  • Confer with customers to verify satisfaction with products.
  • Facilitate product training, sales presentations, and demonstrations to partners and end customers.
  • Support Channel partners at industry events, trade shows, partner conferences, and other initiatives to generate leads.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of procedures and systems to interface with customers and internal departments to assure maximum customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with operations, product management, and technical support, and customers to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies and customer satisfaction.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads distribution to Channel partners and follow-up.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of our product line and stay up to date through ongoing training and research



Requirements:

Work Experience

  • Five years in a sales role at a company selling motion control products, with proven ability to drive sales growth.

Skills/Attributes

  • Have a detailed understanding of E-Commerce sales, Distributor sales, sales cycles, combined with a keen sense of urgency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent sales skills.
  • Proven ability to grow sales.

Qualifications (Education, Degrees, Certifications)

  • Engineering degree with a focus on mechatronics.
  • SalesForce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite competency.


Salary : $125,000 - $145,000
