Description:
AScIS is seeking a passionate II-III level web application developer to assist with the maintenance and development of our outdoor recreation management product line, iSportsman. This service is used by mulitple US State and US Federal Agencies to manage outdoor activities, wildlife and natural resource conservation, recreationist safety, and data collection, analysis and reporting. This position will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development. The developer will primarily use C# using MS Visual Studio for development, and writing unit tests for deployment of the core application software and web delivered services. The front-end duties will involve the use of AngularJS and other leading Javascript technologies.
Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Front & Backend programming experience must include:
- C# - (3 yr.) .NET 4.5
- Angular JS 1.3
- EntityFramework 6 (database first)
- Experience with source control, preferably Git
- Strong JavaScript knowledge
- WCF, Web Services
Extra Credit:
- Experience with async/await in .NET 4.5
- Experience building large single-page applications
- Familiar with TypeScript, Redis and caching
- Experience with automated testing
- CKEditor (WYSIWIG)
- Experience with automated queuing such as RabbitMQ
Job Detail: Other responsibilities and tasks include:
Very strong verbal communication skills (English).
Thorough knowledge of client/server and web environments
Assist in the design and implementation of the client-defined software requirements, and develop scope for individual contracts & projects.
Author and maintain unit tests and automated testing scripts to ensure high quality deliverables.
Ensure that robust data and programming standards are followed, as well as appropriate integrity, security and performance protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
