What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agriculture Education Instructor position at Applied Technology Center?
Minimum Qualifications:
SC certification or eligibility for SC certification in Agricultural Education
Ability to reach Horticulture, Plant, and Animal Systems courses
Experience in FFA (Future Farmers of America) Student Organization, Instruction, and Leadership Training
Working knowledge of Agricultural Education Standards and Equipment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Display of high standards and ethical conduct
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule
Length of Contract: 190 days (50 additional days pending South Carolina Agriculture Education Funds
Starting Date: 2025-2026 School Year
College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
