What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at applied.valhalla.stage?
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage on a multi-line phone system.
- Open & distribute mail as well as maintain the postage machine.
- Maintain front desk and “welcome” area for guests and customers including updating lobby sign in a timely and accurate manner, maintain company literature, and provide coffee and drinks as necessary.
- Assist the purchasing dept. with miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager.
- Assist/backup the executive assistant in arranging lunches for client meetings, in-house training sessions, and company BBQ’s.
- Assist the accounting, human resources, warehouse, and service/safety depts. on an as needed basis
Preferred Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Associate’s Degree preferred. Business field desired.
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in an Administrative role preferred.
- Prior experience with industrial environments & situations preferred.
