FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and leader in the process flow control industry, is searching for an Inside Technical Sales Representative for its growing Strategic Accounts Team! As a member of this Team, you will establish and expand relationships with current and new customers and support the outside sales team with a focus on pump and flow controls products.
Responsibilities:
- Sell company products and services to customers by preparing quotes, responding timely to price and delivery inquiries, soliciting customer orders and suggesting additional products in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales Team in soliciting business, executing quotations and order transactions and maintaining superior customer service levels.
- Develop a deep understanding of the FCX product and service offering for markets across the country.
- Leverage your knowledge and experience to understand customer application requirements, size and select appropriate products, and prepare and present technical, application and pricing information to both internal associates and customers in order to capture business.
- Engage with vendors when necessary to obtain product pricing and delivery information.
- Use your organizational skills to prepare and respond to customer RFPs by coordinating response across multiple team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned or may be required
Position Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; Technical or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- 3 years’ experience in Customer Service in related Industry; experience as an Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service role a plus.
- Experience with technical and/or flow control products; industrial pump knowledge preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including English grammar.
- Strong organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude with an ability and desire to learn
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel including experience with pivot tables, formulas and functions, and professional presentation development.
- Epicor P21 experience a plus!
