We are currently looking for a Quality / Calibration Manager working directly in our Madison Heights lab ensuring robust testing services to be provided to external customers. Applus Reliable Analysis (Applus RA) is expanding the testing laboratory providing testing and engineering services to the manufacturers and key suppliers in the transportation, automotive, defense and industrial sectors.
As a key team member within the operations team, the position will include a variety of standard and non-standard test projects within the laboratory department assigned for timely and accurate results with supervision support as required.
Job description
Responsible to lead ISO 17025 audits, internal audits, round robins, proficiency tests, calibration programs, document control and other activities to maintain accreditation to ISO, and client-specific Automotive requirements
Oversee site audits conducted by the above agencies and clients as needed
Maintain a state of preparedness for the audits noted above via maintenance and adherence to a task schedule
Review as required reports are in compliance to the requested regulation / procedure / SOP’s
Participate in the Creation / / Review / Approve SOP’s
Log, respond and resolve customer / internal complaints / NCR’s
Participate in the development of reports to the Regional Quality Manager, Quality Director and others as necessary the status of QA activities.
Mentor and train personnel on corporate and quality policies and procedures.
Participate in maintaining employee training data base
