Applus Reliable Analysis is a world leader in automotive testing, inspection, and certification. We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our Madison Heights laboratory, ensuring robust testing services for external customers.
We are expanding our laboratory capabilities to provide testing and engineering services to manufacturers and key suppliers in the transportation, automotive, defense, and industrial sectors. As a key team member within operations, this role will involve standard and non-standard test projects within the laboratory department, assigned for timely and accurate results with supervision support as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading ISO 17025 audits, internal audits, round robins, proficiency tests, calibration programs, document control, and other activities to maintain accreditation to ISO and client-specific Automotive requirements. Additionally, they will oversee site audits conducted by regulatory agencies and clients as needed, maintaining a state of preparedness through task scheduling and adherence to regulatory procedures.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review reports for compliance with regulations, procedures, and SOPs. The successful candidate will also participate in the creation, review, and approval of SOPs, log and respond to customer complaints, and mentor personnel on corporate and quality policies and procedures.
