Job Title: Policy Issuance Associate

Location: Richardson, TX, 75082 (On-site)

Work Schedule: General Shift

Performs policy issuance duties when needed by administering a timely and accurate policy issuance process that is consistent with compliance and performance standards.

The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Develop working knowledge while issuing policies according to company and carrier guidelines.
2. Assist underwriters with meeting or exceeding production goals as assigned.
3. Develop and maintain client, carrier and agent relationships through timely, accurate service
4. Audit, correct, and verify all necessary information prior to policy issuance.
5. Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with company's policies and procedures and seek appropriate action from Policy Issuance Specialist Lead or Supervisor for correction when necessary.
6. Request cancellation and reinstatement of policies based on outlined terms, company policy and statutory regulations.
7. Conduct ratings as necessary to ensure policy information is accurate.
8. Maintain a suspense system and follow-up for receipt of policies, endorsements, inspections, correspondence, claims, etc. from outside sources.
9. Forward to policy servicing inquiries made at carrier requests to the Quality Control for handling.
10. Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

1. High School diploma or equivalent work experience
2. Current state specific license require within 90 days
3. Ability to develop, foster and maintain good working relationships with clients
4. Ability to work in a team environment
5. Ability to use company automation to include in-house proprietary system
6. Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities
7. Ability to review information, make decisions and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
8. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
9. Good written and verbal skills
10. Ability to work extended hours when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Property and Casualty Insurance experience
