Role : Senior MES Engineer
Location : Tuscaloosa Alabama (100% Onsite)

Senior MES Engineer the candidate would be responsible to provide MES support to manufacturing operations that runs on the shop floor.
Education & Experience Requirements :
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 6 years of experience as MES Engineer
- Working knowledge of technologies such as Microsoft Excel and Database (MSSQL)
- Strong ability to diagnose alerts events or issues
Duties and Responsibilities
MES System monitoring troubleshooting problem resolution and implementationMES support configuration of printers scanners (PPC) PBL controllers and carts part labels MESConfigure and troubleshoot barcode scanners
Basic level network troubleshootingTrack and control MES devices and their configurationsAs an IT support should be able to troubleshoot other systems that are integrated with MES (such as JIS sequence system Paintshop system SAP AIB HMI etc.)Take new MES requirements / changes from operations team :Translate it into Technical spec
Get the changes done by MES vendor teamReview and Test the change with vendor teamPlan for rollout and test it with operationsWrite Work instructions and train operations teamThis position will function as the dedicated SubProject Manager working with the PM team to plan and coordinate for all projects.Availability
Flexible schedule and sense of urgency to support escalations that affect business operations and client servicesAvailable after hours and weekends as needed and willing to work oncall rotationAdditional Requirements
