What are the responsibilities and job description for the Linguist position at AppTek.ai?

We currently have a Linguistics position open in Crystal City, VA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Data analysis, development, maintenance and documentation:
- Analyze data from languages worldwide
- Analyze variation in personal names
- Develop new data and data subsets
- Ensure data quality
- Identify data discrepancies
- Document nature of data, data development procedures
- Analyze writing systems and their romanizations and transliterations
- Support Algorithm development, analysis, maintenance and training for:
- Automatic language/culture/region identification
- Name-checking
- Quality assurance testing
Qualifications:
- MS/PhD in Linguistics
- Preferred: advanced knowledge of a language using a common non-Roman script such as Arabic/Persian, Chinese, Korean,Cyrillic, etc.
Must be U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a Secret clearance.
