Position - Cath Lab Technician
Location - Morristown, NJ
Schedule Notes
- Cath Lab and EP Lab would only be looking at CVT and invasive techs who scrub interventional cardiology cases in cath labs and/or EP labs. They are licensed Radiology Technologists and/or Certified RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists). They do procedures such as PCI, Diagnostic Heart Caths, Ablations, Pacemakers.
- Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist experience scrubbing interventional cardiology Cath lab cases.
- MMC Cath Lab and EP are looking for an RCIS certified OR a licensed RT who has experience scrubbing Interventional Cardiology procedures such as STEMI, PCI, Diagnostic Cardiac Caths.
Days per week: 3
Shift: 8am-8:30pm
On call or weekends required. Yes 1 weeknight/week (730pm -7am) and 1 weekend per month of on call only required

Call Back: On Call pay with call requirement
Duties
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
- Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data
- Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
- Assess and manage access site, and inform physician
- Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab
- Prepare patient for procedures
Skills
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- RCIS certification preferred
- BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
- Cardiac Cath lab experience
Preferred Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
