Cath Lab Technician

Job Details -

Position - Cath Lab Tech

Location - Morristown, NJ

Days per week - 3

Shift - 8a-8:30pm

So that you know, on-call or weekends are required. Yes 1 weeknight/week (730pm -7 am) and 1 weekend per month of on-call only required

Duration - 13 weeks (100% possibility with extension)

Duties -

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
• Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data
• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
• Assess and manage access site, and inform physician
• Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab
• Prepare patient for procedures

Skills -

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist
• RCIS certification preferred
• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
• Cardiac Cath lab experience
• Preferred Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required
