Electrical Automation Engineering Manager

Job Description: Automation Engineering Manager (Southern Maine). The candidate will lead the controls integration team, managing all controls & automation integration; Drive deliverables from conception through development & installation of high-purity liquid process solutions. Project work will range from small system modifications at small businesses to complex capital expenditures at Fortune 500 companies. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills to achieve end-to-end ownership of automation and electrical engineering resourcing & planning.

Specific duties:

• Oversee Automation & Electrical Engineers performing controls integration projects that meet/exceed customer requirements and expectations
• Support Project Managers project planning & execution; defining project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure appropriate staff to meet schedule, budget & customer demands.
• Employee Development: Provide ongoing feedback on employee performance in accordance with company policy.
• Resolving internal & externally conflicts
• Building a culture that attracts, develops, and retains talent.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years in a leadership role in an automation-oriented environment.
• Design and implementation of automation in process systems.
• PLC Programming (Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
• HMI development and planning.
• It can bring parties of differing views to a common consensus.
• Project Management: Quality, cost, and schedule management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable; willing to take initiative & assume responsibilities outside of normal competencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
