Pay Rate: $23.28
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5×8 Days 8AM-4:30pm
Our client is one of the largest Healthcare Staffing Providers in the United States, to be assigned at one of their affiliated hospitals/healthcare facilities.

- How many years of Physician billing and Accounts Receivable experience do you have? In what specialties?
- How comfortable are you calling and obtaining claim status with the insurance company? And what questions would you ask and what would the action be?
- Are you able to identify if the procedure is denied incorrectly and if so, do you know what questions to ask insurance or how to appeal?
- Give me an example of when you encountered this problem and how you handled it.
- Do you have knowledge and understand modifiers? Give me an example of when you would use one?
- Are you able to multitask and are you organized, since follow through is very important, before timely filing comes into play?
- What are some claim filing policies with the payers that you are aware of?
- Applicants must be proficient in hospital-based physician billing and collections with at least 2-3 years' experience.
- STRONG PHYSICIAN Accounts Receivable experience.
- Must be able to follow claim and resolve.
- Must also have knowledge of PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal and Medicare Insurance plan guidelines.
- Ability to audit credit accounts, Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and LCD/NCD coding including ensuring compliance to accepted guidelines.
