Position OverviewAs a Mid-Level Digital Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering exceptional digital products that seamlessly integrate into our transportation solutions. This includes a hybrid of UX and UI work as you'll be working in the HMI (Human Machine Interface) Design team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs, business requirements, and technological capabilities into engaging and intuitive user experiences. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a passion for innovation in the transportation industry. This role focuses on the in-vehicle design experience.
Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity 2D and 3D designs, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Develop interactive animations and motion graphics to enhance user engagement and delight.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct / facilitate user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to iterate and improve product designs.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across various digital touchpoints with a focus on in-vehicle interfaces, not excluding web, mobile, app, etc.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the organization. Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology and process.
- Contribute to development of design process and toolchain.
- Stay ahead of emerging design trends, technologies, and industry best practices, embracing ambiguity in an R&D context to spearhead and inspire continuous improvement and innovation within the company.
