What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Caretaker position at Apres?
Job Summary
We are seeking a flexible and handy person to fill our property caretaker position. The role will include oversite of our Tasting Room and outdoor Patio area, and related facilities. The ideal candidate will have many skills and be able to learn and adapt on the fly. The role and weekly hours will be extremely flexible, however some work on Saturdays will be frequently required.
Duties
- Maintain building and property look and feel and upkeep
- Gardening and performing small landscape duties
- Inspecting the building facilities to make sure they are in good working order
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required
- Sourcing, booking and supervising contractors for major repairs
- Monitoring cleaning materials, tools, and furniture and reordering as required
- Assist with furniture movement and setup for private events
- Maintain outdoor patio look and feel and manage seasonal changeovers
- Adhering to the company’s safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone
Requirements:
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues relating to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, facility equipment, and appliances
- Excellent time management, can conform to shifting priorities and timelines
- Positive attitude towards other staff and guests, and can take pride in their work
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
