April oversees a portfolio of over 85,000 affordable housing units in approximately 650 communities. What you will do :
- Regulatory Compliance :
Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to affordable housing programs.
Oversee tenant file compliance, including initial certifications, annual recertifications, and interim certifications.
Develop and deliver compliance training programs to property management staff to ensure awareness and understanding of affordable housing requirements.
Establish and maintain a robust compliance monitoring program, including regular audits and site visits.
Lead investigations into alleged violations of affordable housing regulations, policies, and procedures.
