Summary/Objective
The PDI Stop Order Tech is responsible for repairing, updating and inspecting cars to the highest standards.
Essential Functions
- Perform diagnostic evaluation on vehicles.
- Repair vehicles.
- Perform quality audits or inspection.
- Create repair estimates for damaged cars.
- Perform repairs on major component systems.
- Place parts orders as required.
- Ensure that all repairs meet the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality standards.

Work Environment
A well-lit outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions
Physical Demands
Moderate physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity is sufficient to reach and handle items
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime and occasional weekends.
Travel
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma.
1-2 years of automotive experience, preferred with VW/Audi.
Eight ASE certifications (A1-A8).
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology or related field or equivalent.
Computer Operations
Basic personal computer skills include electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card) and have a valid driver’s license.
