Join our team as a Project Engineer and play a key role in the design and construction of a state-of-the-art, 10-story federal courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This high-profile $200M design-build project will house 12 courtrooms, 17 judges chambers, and multiple federal agencies, following GSAs Design Excellence protocol.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sr. PM and QCS in managing project documentation, schedules, RFIs, and submittals.
- Track and evaluate change orders, technical specifications, and drawing modifications.
- Support cost control, scheduling, and contract compliance efforts.
- Conduct site observations, monitor progress, and help identify/resolution challenges.
- Organize and maintain project records and document control systems.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Contribute to safety compliance, ensuring adherence to GSA and federal regulations.
- Participate in project close-out activities to ensure smooth completion.
Who Were Looking For:
Required:
? Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
? 3-5 years of relevant construction management experience
? Ability to pass a US government background investigation
? Proficiency in reading & understanding construction plans, specifications, and contracts
Preferred:
- Industry certifications (DBIA, CMAA, USGBC, etc.)
- Experience on federal or courthouse projects
- Familiarity with Kahua or similar document control platforms
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
