Position: Principal/Lead Consultant - Pricing and Market Access Life Sciences Consulting

Location: Philadelphia (Hybrid)

About: Apsida is partnered with a boutique life sciences consulting firm specializing in pricing and market access strategic recommendations to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Their core purpose is to assist their clients in navigating the complex and dynamic world of drug pricing and market access.

Role Overview: We are actively looking for an experienced principal/lead consultant to operate as a strategic leader within the practice. The ideal candidate will have experience driving business development and leading client partnerships within the pricing and market access space. A good fit will be someone with deep expertise within biopharma consulting with an emphasis on pricing and market access, proven ability to drive revenue, a collaborative and supportive attitude and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities through selling the firm's pricing and market access offerings. Meet annual revenue targets of $1 million and expand the firm's book of business.
• Client Engagement: Supervise the production and delivery of client projects, overseeing that projects are completed efficiently and with the expected quality. Serve in an advisory capability to senior leaders within biopharma.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and train an expert team of managers, consultants and analysts. Although in a senior role, the candidate is expected to consistently engage within project workflows to guarantee accurate and high-quality solutions for clients.
• Strategic Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership to drive growth of the business globally. Participate and contribute to discussion and strategy about the firm's general direction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience within life science consulting, preferably with a pricing and market access focus.
• Expertise in pricing and market access in US and international markets (focus on Europe and APAC)
• Proven ability to generate revenue ($1mil annually) through selling pricing and market access capabilities to biotech and pharmaceutical organizations.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of motivating and directing teams effectively.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues.
• Practical involvement in both business growth and project execution.
• A team-oriented attitude with a strong enthusiasm for guiding and nurturing talent.
