Reporting to the Executive Director of University Studies, the Student Success Professional serves as a senior academic advising leader, playing a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative student success initiatives within the college. This position provides support and assistance to the Executive Director of University Studies and the Director of Degree Completion Initiatives by coordinating efforts across diverse internal and external stakeholders, representing the Executive Director in their absence, and addressing complex student challenges that require advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, the Professional engages with staff at various levels, student employees, interns, and graduate assistants. Their core responsibilities include guiding transfer students on degree completion, navigating academic and career pathways, managing proactive advising systems to support students in transition, and aligning with the college’s strategic priorities to enhance retention, progression, and persistence.
