This position is onsite 4 days a week and only open to US Citizens/Green Card holders on our W2. This is a rolling year to year contract, potential to renew every year or go full time with an enterprise company!

Our client is looking to bring on Application Support Engineer/Analyst to their team! If you have 2 years of experience within Linux, command-line scripting, integration, and relational databases to support critical software applications, we encourage you to apply. The successful candidate will focus on troubleshooting, automation, and process enhancement, contributing to the enterprise.
What you'll do:
- Provide technical support for the full software lifecycle, including production support and upgrades for software applications.
- Troubleshoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams to test internal and external software updates.
- Implement automation solutions to improve processes, boost productivity, and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain documentation on support tasks, procedures, and system configurations.
- Maintain technical proficiency and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work closely with internal customers to integrate their needs and foster innovation through automation.
Skills needed for success:
- Strong experience with Linux systems and command-line scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Expertise in integrating, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade software and APIs.
- Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase) and SQL scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps) and SDLC methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a nice to have, but relevant experience will suffice
