Aptarro is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Office Manager/HR Assistant to become a key player in our team. This is an in-person position, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office while supporting a variety of HR-related tasks as directed by the Senior Director of Human Resources.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, greeting guests, and coordinating deliveries.
- Receive, sort, and distribute office mail.
- Ensure daily deposit of all checks.
- Manage executive leadership teams’ time off requests in ADP.
- Support vendor management activities, including ordering supplies and maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by coordinating job interviews.
- Initiate background investigations and conduct reference checks for prospective employees.
- Assist with new hire orientation and training activities.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews.
- Assist with the coordination of in-house or off-site activities, e.g. company events, celebrations and conferences.
- Coordinate employee anniversary awards and recognition initiatives including mailing swag boxes to new hires.
- Perform other office management and human resources related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of office management experience is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience as an HR Assistant (essential).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency with office software and HR tools (e.g., ADP).
