What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at ApTask?
A shift : Monday thru Friday - 6am to 2 : 30pm with 25% Overtime : Pay Rate : $42.00 / hr
B shift : Monday thru Friday - 6pm to 2 : 30am with 25% Overtime : Pay Rate : $46.20 / hr
D shift : Friday thru Sunday - 6pm to 6am with 25% Overtime : Pay Rate : $48.30 / hr
Mandatory Skills :
- Proficiency in the installation of avionics components and systems
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5-10 years in direct avionics integration or aerospace manufacturing roles
- Extensive experience in cable harness assembly and installation for aerospace (signal cables, RF cables, fiber optic cables, high data rate cables)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with electrical safety and ESD control standards
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and remedy avionics malfunctions.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Proficient with basic computer applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and written
