What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel RN -Critical Care Float position at Aptiva Healthcare?
- **IMPORTANT NOTE! - This is a MEDICAL OVERFLOW FLOAT POOL.
Traveler will take care of mainly MS Tele patients.
In the event there are no patients, traveler could be floated to ICU or the MS unit or campus if needed.
Traveler may also float to the ED to task.
Patient Ratios are 1:6**
- CANDIDATES WILL INTERVIEW!
- 3x12s, Days, 7a-7p
- Friday - Sunday
- Minimum 2 yrs experience required. TRAVEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
- *BLS, ACLS required.
- *Previous Charge exp preferred.
- Patient Diagnoses: Respiratory failure, post-cardiac arrest, severe sepsis, CHF, arrhythmias, seizure epilepsy, GI bleed, overdose, post-surgical monitoring, congestive heart failure, pulmonary emboli, drug overdoses, cardiac arrythmias. Also included would be patients requiring complicated medical and ventilator management. Low volume populations include patients with unstable angina, cerebral vascular accidents, and DKA. Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, and interventions in case of respiratory or cardiac arrest
