The position of Machinist at Aqua-Chem will need to process components for assembly into customized clean water systems for customers domestic and around the world. Aqua-Chem is a team orientated work environment that encourages employee growth and innovation.
Schedule: (1st Shift) Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (OT may be required on Friday's 6:00am - 2:30pm)

Essential Duties
- Mazatrol Matrix, M32, or Mazak Smooth control use experience is needed.
- Machine materials into components in accordance with company/customer requirements utilizing a variety of machining equipment.
- CNC Lathes and Mazak Lathes use.
- Drill Press, manual lathes, and manual mills use.
- Program CNC equipment to produce components that meet quality specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklift/overhead crane) to maneuver parts safely into place, while facilitating and optimizing workflow.
- Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers and/or Vernier calipers.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
- Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools such as lathes, and milling machines.
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings and engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operation needed to fabricate products needed for production.
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Comprehend and follow ISO procedures to ensure compliance with standard.
- Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.
- Participate in root cause analysis projects and Continuous Improvement programs.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- At least 1 - 5 years fabricating in a manufacturing environment
- Programing experience on Mazatrol Matrix or M32 control use, and/or G code, preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Basic shop math and measurement skills
- Basic reading and interpretation of blueprints/drawings
- Able to work overtime as required
