What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Aqua-Chem?
The Project Coordinator at Aqua-Chem is responsible for assisting the Project Management team in the delivery of projects within budget and schedule while maintaining communication with the customer.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: Onsite; Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Essential Duties:
- Support project managers in the execution of a project
- Primary duty will be to manage the suppliers of outsourced manufactured items critical to the success of the projects
- Duties in supplier management include, relationship building, providing up to date forecast of pipelines, on time delivery of required material, assisting with timely technical support, occasional onsite inspection and oversight, and developing procedures.
- Report on status of outside suppliers during alignment meetings
- Develop tracking and status updates inside ACI’s ERP system and in Microsoft documents such as Word and Excel.
- Assist in preparation and submittal of required project documents such as drawings, quality documents, shipping documents, etc.
- Participate in project status meetings to provide updates on assigned projects.
- Assist in preparation of handover documents and instructions for commissioning team
- Serve as point of contact with clients for projects when project managers are unavailable or when requested by a project manager.
- Provide support for Factory Acceptance Tests and on-site customer coordination hosting
- Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
Education/Experience:

AS Degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 - 3 years experience in a technical environment desired but not necessary; or Engineering graduate will preferred but not necessary
- Experience with engineering and/or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office products, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat
- Understand how to use and operate databases. Previous experience with ERP systems preferred

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to work overtime as required
