Aqua Pool & Patio is seeking dedicated and skilled Service Technicians to join our team. Both Full-Time & Part-Time Positions available. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing swimming pools for our valued customers. Competitive wages offered.

Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for providing high-quality pool maintenance and repair services to residential and commercial clients. This includes cleaning pools, balancing water chemistry, repairing and maintaining pool equipment, and ensuring the overall cleanliness, safety, and longevity of the pool and its systems. Technicians will be equipped with company vehicles and company equipment to perform their daily duties.
Part time positions include 3-4 days work per week, half days on Saturday mornings. Pool cleanings/pool balancing exclusively. No repair/equipment work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pool Cleaning:
o Vacuum pool floors and walls.
o Skim debris from the water surface.
o Brush pool walls and floors to remove algae and other contaminants.
o Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets regularly.
o Backwash filters as needed.
Water Chemistry:
o Test and analyze water chemistry, including pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and chlorine levels.
o Add and adjust chemicals to balance water chemistry according to industry standards and customer preferences.
o Troubleshoot and resolve water clarity issues.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
o Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automatic cleaners.
o Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
o Replace worn-out or broken parts as needed.
o Perform preventative maintenance on pool equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Customer Service:
o Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
o Communicate effectively with clients regarding service schedules, water chemistry issues, and equipment repairs.
o Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Professional demeanor, dependable, reliable, punctual.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work overtime or be on call when necessary or assigned.
- Pool Service experience and an SP-2 or SP-1 license are preferred but not required. We provide training opportunities at all levels.
