Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service/Calibration Technician, located in South Windsor, CT. The Field Service/Calibration Technician will be responsible for providing on-site technical field and calibration support for customers. Additionally, they will be required to install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate automated temperature control and process systems, as well as equipment used for industrial process control applications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, and an associate's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent technical degree is preferred, with three or more years of field and calibration experience in process control industries
- Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PID principles
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve technical problems in a time-sensitive environment
- Experience in the installation, repair, and calibration of the following: process instrumentation, temperature controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and other control components commonly used in process control applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel as needed
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
