The Aqua Spa Float Center & Wellness Boutique is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients, employees, and visitors. Shift availability is weekday mornings and some weekends. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour based on experience.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, treatment rooms and other common areas.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages.
- Sort, fold and maintain all spa laundry and maintain laundry facilities.
- Sanitize and dust all surfaces regularly.
- Follow established safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Respond to special cleaning requests as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing, bending, lifting, push, pull, kneel, stoop, twisting, and carrying cleaning caddies for short periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
