We are a family owned national wholesale distributor of swimming pool supplies seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This day shift position requires in-person attendance.
Qualifications, knowledge & abilities:
1 years experience in Human Resources
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with tact and professionalism
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Word and Excel
Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process inclusive of posting opportunities, screening candidates and conducting background checks
- Benefit administration
- Administer and execute HR training programs
- Performing background checks
- Assist in the payroll
- Maintaining accurate personnel files
- Organizing sensitive records
- Other HR related functions
