Where do you fit in?
The Estimator II is an office based, solutions-driven role for our stormwater estimating team. This role will focus on collecting and analyzing stormwater project data to estimate the time, costs, materials, and labor required to provide repair services to regulated stormwater management systems located across the United States. You will be responsible for writing repair proposals while working in tandem with the Project Management team. This is a unique opportunity to directly drive business growth and revenue while making an impact on the environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare technical estimates for repair, remediation and rehabilitation projects from information received such as asset drawings, specifications, photo documentation and customer interviews for land development and environmental retention.
- Perform site visits as required by internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure that bid deadlines and customer presentation requirements are met while proactively identifying and suggesting solutions for known compliance deficiencies.
- Prepare detailed scopes for clients by analyzing regulations and in-field documentation
- Develop repair budgets by identifying and projecting all relevant costs associated with in-house personnel and / or external providers

- Analyze, update, and produce mark-ups of site plans to guide in-field teams and service partners
- Preserve consistency among corporate, division, and in-field teams and service partners through documentation and communication
- Maintain and update master pricing sheet and cost keys
- Analyze data and track work orders in Microsoft Dynamics and client portals
- Project estimating for executive accounts and governmental municipal bids
- Follow through on problems that may compromise effective job performance by using appropriate chain of command

- Maintain positive working relationships and foster cooperative work environment
- Display honesty and mutual respect when communicating with peers and other departments
- Perform other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of duties in this job classification
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in stormwater management, sediment & erosion construction, or other environmental services preferred
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred (Environmental Science, Construction Management, etc.)
- SCM Certification preferred
- Strong business acumen with motivation to drive business revenue.
- Experience projecting costs for restorative repair projects preferred
- Aptitude for drafting technical persuasive proposals using detailed descriptions and site photographs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, Excel, and other computer programs
- Strong customer service and negotiating skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.80 - $34.62 per hour
