We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves working on various marine systems and ensuring high-quality service and maintenance, whilst the role may be broad, we are looking for a technician with a bias towards electrical.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the diagnosis, installation and maintenance of marine systems and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems
- Use diagnostic tools to test these components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the ship
- Interpret technical documents and plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Adhere to Aquamare Marine USA's quality standards.
Requirements
Vocational technical school degree / certification, Boatbuilding, Military Trade or High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED).
We are looking for self-motivated persons who have experience working with a crew of electrical technicians on single or multiple projects.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics, and ability to recognize problems through troubleshooting. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including metrics.
