Position Overview: We are looking for a Chef who is highly skilled in preparing upscale Mediterranean-inspired fine dining-style dinners with an upscale breakfast/brunch. This role requires an individual with a creative flair for menu development, high attention to detail, and a understanding of Mediterranean flavors and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute breakfast dishes that align with our upscale offerings, using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Create and execute dinner menus inspired by Mediterranean cuisine with a upscale dining twist, ensuring top-notch presentation and taste.
- Lead the kitchen staff during service, maintaining organization and quality control.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Work with management to design seasonal and specialty menus.
- Ensure inventory is stocked and orders are placed as necessary, keeping costs within budget.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine and fine dining for 5 years.
- Expertise in preparing upscale breakfast items with attention to detail and presentation.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient sourcing.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage and train kitchen staff.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
