Duties are diverse and include a mix of accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and operations support.
Responsibilities
- Work with business partners, including Operations, to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support.
- Record journal entries for monthly accounting activity.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Review the general ledger for accuracy and perform variance analyses.
- Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from across the Company/external stakeholders.
- Assist with external audit including interim and final fieldwork.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting.
- 5 years of construction accounting experience, including job costing, percentage of completion, work-in-progress, and over/under billings.
- CPA preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
