The Role
Aquarian Holdings is seeking an exceptional individual to join the Client Services team as an Associate. This role will be a critical member of the inaugural Client Services Team and will report to the Vice President, Client Services. This individual will be responsible for building, scaling and maintaining client service coverage for the Aquarian ecosystem, which includes insurance companies and other institutional investors.
This position is located in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Support client inquiries and ensure timely, accurate responses regarding investment portfolios, performance, and compliance matters.
- Prepare and review portfolio reporting packages, client presentations, and customized analyses.
- Monitor investment portfolios to ensure adherence to client-specific investment guidelines, internal risk limits, and regulatory constraints. Work with internal teams to address any compliance exceptions or breaches.
- Support the preparation and submission of external regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance with applicable regulations.
- Help streamline processes, enhance data management, and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Liaise with Investment Operations, Legal, Compliance, and investment teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
- Creation and maintenance of institutional marketing requirements.
Ideal profile and characteristics:
- 2-5 years of buy side or sell side experience in a client-facing role.
- Familiarity with insurance asset management preferred.
- Interest in strategic initiatives, building sales and business development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining client reporting.
- Deep understanding of credit/fixed income investing and associated operational requirements.
- Highly process oriented, yet entrepreneurial.
- Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail in analyzing investment data and client portfolios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to support broader team initiatives.
