Summary:
As the Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations in the Inventory Control Division of the Finance Department. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising numerous employees, scheduling inventory, payroll editing and overseeing the vendor invoice.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development, and disciplining of departmental employees
- Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
- Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery
- Oversees with direct participation the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Control department ensuring smooth and efficient operations and ensuring all policies and guidelines are met
- Processes all necessary paperwork to issue items from the Warehouse to venues.
- Ensures that all orders that leave the Warehouse are correct and ensures that the Inventory Control Log is current and up-to-date
- Conducts physical inventories of Warehouse items, including preparing tally sheets with storage and bin locations and updating item information in RedRock
- Responsible for overseeing vendor invoicing
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior inventory control and warehouse experience or related supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to effectively utilize organizational and analytical skills
- Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer literate
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- At least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Some college accounting courses preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
